Applying to WCA
Thank you for your interest in WCA! We accept online applications. Please review our “Family Requirements” prior to applying.
Family Requirements:
- At least one parent or guardian must be a Christian who professes faith in Jesus Christ alone for salvation.
- Parent/guardian and child must regularly attend a Christ-centered Bible-teaching church. In the event the parent or guardian of the child submits an application, a pastor reference form from the church you are currently attending will be requested by the school.
- At least one parent or guardian must reside in the household. If two reside in the household, they must be a legally married man and woman.
- Students should have the ability to function academically at grade level or above.
- Students should have achieved FSA scores of Level 3 or higher in Reading, Math, and Language, or a minimum of the 40th national percentile in each of the following areas: Total Reading, Total Math, Total Language, and Complete Battery, as indicated in their most recent nationally normed standardized achievement test.
- Students should have the ability to function behaviorally in an appropriate way.
- Students applying for kindergarten must meet the minimum age requirement:
- Students applying for K3 must be three years old by September 1st.
- Students applying for K4 must be four years old by September 1st.
- Students applying for K5 must be five years old by September 1st.
- Students applying for middle school must have a personal belief in and commitment to Christ as well as a desire to attend Weston Christian Academy.
- Students applying for middle school must agree to abide by all school expectations, standards, and policies as relates to conduct.

Admission Steps:
The information below is a description of the admission steps found in our application.
Step I – Application and Fee
- Parents who desire to pursue admission to WCA must complete the Student and Family Application online. (Note: application alone does not constitute enrollment)
- Parents must submit the non-refundable $125.00 application fee for each student. The entrance exam fee is $50 and it is paid separately. Families will be notified of the testing dates and must make arrangements to attend one of those sessions.
Step II – Documentation
Parents must provide the following documentation that is required and evaluated for admission
- Official Birth Certificate (Upload a PDF copy. NO PICTURES of the original)
- Social Security Card (Upload a PDF copy. NO PICTURES of the original)
- Florida Immunization Record DH-680 (Original document)
- Florida Physical DH-3040 (Original document)
- Most Current Report Card (Upload a PDF copy. NO PICTURES of the original)
- Most Current Standardized Test Scores (Upload a PDF copy . - Pastoral Reference Form from the Pastor of the Church the parent currently attends
- Student Reference Information Form from most current elementary teacher or all core-subject middle school teachers
- Family History/Medical Emergency Form
- Parent/Guardian Statement of Support
- Parent Information Form (Kindergarten only)
- Student Information Form (6th – 8th grade only)
- Student Agreement of Conduct (6th – 8th grade only)
Step III – Student Entrance Assessment
After reviewing the completed application along with all required documents, each student entering K3 through 8th grade must undergo a Student Entrance Assessment. Families will be notified of the testing dates and must make arrangements to attend one of those sessions. The entrance exam fee is $50 and it is paid separately from the application fee of $125. The results of the assessment help to evaluate whether or not the academy will be able to meet the educational needs of the student, and whether or not the student is likely to be academically successful at the academy. These results are reviewed by the Director of Admissions and School Administrator prior to acceptance.
Step IV – Interview
The Director of Admissions recommends the student and family to be interviewed by a School Administrator.
Step V – Finalize
Following the interview, parents are notified in writing of the admission decision. Upon acceptance, parents must sign the Reservation and Enrollment Agreement and pay the non-refundable $500 Enrollment Fee through FACTS within five days in order to confirm and finalize the student’s enrollment.
Students are not enrolled and may not begin school until this has been received by the Administration Office.
