MESSAGES FROM THE PTF
Welcome Back!
It's been a great first week!

This week's PTF reminders: Join us for a Back to School Ice Cream Social on Thursday, September 2nd from 6:30-7:30 p.m. in the WCA Gym. Come enjoy some ice cream for $1.00 a bowl as you fellowship with friends and teachers. We'll be giving tours of the new building! Send in those Box Tops...every one counts! We're off to a great start. We've already collected $80.00 worth! RIBBON CUTTING CEREMONY
On Sunday, August 29th we will have the ribbon cutting ceremony for the new building; it will be held at 12:30 p.m. at the conclusion of the second service. The ribbon cutting ceremony will take place on the east side of the new building. Please join us for this exciting event and bring a friend!

ARRIVAL AND DISMISSAL PROCEDURES
All parents are urged to follow procedures for arrival and dismissal as outlined in the Parent/Student Handbook (pages 20-21). This includes entering by the Three Village Road entrance only and circle around the building to the main entrance of the New Educational Building. The road between the school and the Temple is a shared road; please keep right to let cars drive the other way.

OPEN HOUSE
Plan to attend WCA's Open House on September 23rd at 6:30 p.m. Come visit your child's teacher and se what he/she is doing in the classroom. If possible, leave siblings at home.

CLASSROOM COORDINATOR MEETING
Mark your calendars! Classroom Coordinator Meeting will be Friday, September 10th at 8:15 a.m. in the Children's Theater. This is a mandatory session for Classroom Coordinators or their delegates.

AFTER SCHOOL ACTIVITIES
All after school activities start next week. This quarter we are offering: Robotics, Guitar, Mandarin, French, Cookin' Kidz, Piano Lab, Dance, and Playball. Click here to print a registration form.

2ND GRADE CHAPEL
Second grade students have been rescheduled to attend chapel at 9:40 a.m.

DON'T FORGET

• Dismissal time every Wednesday is 1:50 p.m. Those students not picked up by 2:50 p.m. will be checked into the Extended Care or Study Hall program and charged accordingly.
• Spirit Shirts may be worn on Fridays only.
• Turn in your Enrollment Verification Report as soon as possible. This information is required for all students and is vitally important. If you are not sure if you have completed one, please call the Administration Office.
• Turn in your Parent/Student Handbook Covenant Agreement from the Parent/Student Handbook signed by both parents and students.
• Turn in your Annual Field Trip Release/Emergency Medical Form as soon as possible. Students will not be permitted to participate in any field trip during the course of the year without this form on file.
